The Terminus font by Dimitar Zhekov is a wonderful bitmapped X font which I find perfect for just about anything I have to do in the terminal, especially typing all day in Vim. However, I did find a few spots for improvement. First, the parens, brackets, and braces can be a little difficult to discern at a distance, so I accentuated the horizontal strokes in the brackets and braces, and made the parens more round. Second, the bars at the top and bottom of the upper-case letter eye were small and made it hard to distinguish from a lower-case letter ell, so I extended them. I've created these patches separately so you can combine them if you like or only use one of them.
